The designer Bible - Part 63. - Matthew Williamson

He was born in the USA in Manhatten, but at 17 he moved to London. He founded his fashion house in 1997. In 2005 he debuted with his forst fragrance also. One year later he became the creative director of Emilio Pucci.

In 2007 a runway show of his designs was set into the video for Prince's song Chelsea Rodgers.

In 2007 the Design Museum in London hosted a restrospective of his work entitled "Matthew Williamson – 10 years in Fashion".
