The designer Bible - Part 62. - Mary Quant

Barbara Mary Quant is a Welsh fashion designer and British fashion icon. She become an iconic figure of the 60's fashion in London.

We can thank her to take credit for the mini-skirt and hot pants. Ernestine Carter, a fashion journalist in 50/60s wrote the following: "It is given to a fortunate few to be born at the right time, in the right place, with the right talents. In recent fashion there are three: Chanel, Dior, and Mary Quant."
Several dresses made by her was presented on Twiggy, the 60s famous modell icon.
