Madeleine Vionnet (1876-1975) is a French born designer, who revolutionized clothing in the dawn of the 20th century. Her cuts defined the trends in the 1930's, and she has been a big inspiration for many big brands ever since. The Vionnet couture brand was established in 1912, but closed in 1939, to be later resurrected in 2006.
