The designer Bible - Part 2. - Alberta Ferretti

Hello, hello again! Let's resume our mission, to learn more about these famous A-lister designers! (Literally A-listers, since we are going in alphabetical order, muhaha.)

Our second "victim" is Alberta Ferretti, who is an Italian designer, with a showroom based in Milan - let's not be jealous.

Our dear Alberta opened her first little boutique in Cattolica, Italy in 1968. She was a co-founder of Aeffe in 1973, which turned out to be a huge success as well, they produced the merchandise of names such as Moschino and Jean Paul Gaultier.

She opened her first freestanding store in the US in Soho at the end of the 90's. This was the flagship of Ferretti's Philosophy line, which is a lower priced edition of her signature line, mostly aimed at younger women as the main focus group.

Today, she's one of the most respected names in the industry.

Ms. Alberta is an ambassador for feminine lines, with returning images of draping and floating gowns. The intricate details in her creations awakens the hopeless romantic in women all over the planet (except those of us, who prefer to look like badass bitches  not as girly).
