He is a french photographer and fashion designer. Between 2000 and 2007 he worked as a creative director for Dior. As a teenager he was interested in photography, especially black and white analogue photography.
Later
on, without fashion in mind, Slimane started making his own clothes. He
studied art history in Paris and he completed a men's tailoring
internship.
He
worked with fashion consultant Jean-Jacques Picart on the project
monogramed canvas for Vuitton. He was involved in rock music, in
addition, he shot spreads for magazines including French Vogue, VMAN and Purple.
