The designer Bible - Part 40. - Haider Ackermann

He was born in Columbia and by 9 month old adopted by a french family. His stepfather was a mapmaker. He was inspired by the work of Yves Saint Laurent, so he decided to go to Belgium in 1994 and studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

He also interned for Galliano. He created his own label in 2002.
