He is an English milliner. He has worked with almost every celebrity, from Boy George, Diana,
Princess of Wales, Take That, Mick Jagger, Kylie Minogue and Dita
Von Teese to fashion industry greats including John Galliano,
Vivienne Westwood, Giles and Marc Jacobs.
He
studied art at the High Wycombe College of Art. In 1975 he went to
London to see a fashion exhibition at the V&A, which inspired him to
work in the fashion industry.
He co-curated the 2009 exhibition Hats: An Anthology for the Victoria and Albert Museum.
